The PlayStation General Manager, Brazil has direct responsibility for every aspect of sales and customer relations for PlayStation in Brazil. The individual will report directly to the Director of Sales, Latin America, at SCEA and will manage all in-country SCEA-funded staff, to include Key Account Managers, Sr. Sales Planner and Analyst, Sales Analysts and various Channel/Trade Marketing roles.  This individual will be accountable for managing PlayStation’s country P&L, achieving sales targets, maximizing PlayStation’s retail presence, and handling various general management duties relating to the position.  This individual is also responsible for developing new business partnerships as well as maintaining existing relationships with retailers and partners, and representing SCEA, the PlayStation brand, and Sony Brazil across all business areas.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Act as the point person for all aspects of the local sales and marketing efforts
  • Be responsible for ensuring collaboration with other departments within Sony Brazil and with each account to develop long-term channel strategies and programs

Position Description

The Latin America Private Bank marketing team supports client advisors and clients across 4 geographic markets:  Brazil, Mexico, Southern Cone, and Andean/Caribbean region. Key responsibilities will include:

-        Manage and execute key components of the 2013 Strategic Latin America Marketing Plan, with a primary focus on Brazil – one of our top priority growth markets

-        Collaborate with the Brazil Market Manager, Business Manager and senior advisors to develop and refine marketing strategies and tactics to grow the business, drive client acquisition/ deepening and improve the client experience.

-        Standardize onshore marketing materials and client collateral; ensure consistent messaging

-        Identify opportunities to build visibility of the JPM brand in key cities

-        Cultivate relationships with targeted industry or cultural organizations that support prospecting and client deepening

-        Support penetration efforts in secondary cities (e.g. Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Curitiba)

-        Support launch efforts related to new JPM office locations

-        Measure and evaluate the success of marketing activities implemented

-        Explore and test digital media (e.g. videos, online, etc.) to gain scale and access new prospects

-        Enhance the Brazil onshore client experience; take effective ways to do so and best practices to other markets (e.g. Mexico), as    needed

-        Partner with the LatAm Investments Marketing Manager to drive investment flows

-        Partner with the Brazil Events Manager (new hire) and Associate on Brazil events plan content, execution and follow-up
